  2. He also assisted the first laparoscopic live donor liver transplant in India, conducted at GEM Hospital and Research Centre by Dr.C.Palanivelu.
  3. He is a full life member of the Association of surgeons of India (ASI), bearing the ID No. FL 18838.
  4. He is one of the faculties for “Basic Laparoscopy Training” programs at JIPMER, Pondicherry.
  5. He was an active member of the organizing team of APASICON 2009 (Warangal), IASGCON 2016 (Coimbatore) and IASGCON 2017 (Puducherry).
  6. He is the first person ever to be awarded post superspeciality fellowship degree under any specialty at JIPMER, Puducherry

  2. Co- investigator: A prospective randomized parellel group trial comparing laparoscopic versus open pancreatoduodenectomy in terms of severity of short term complications and overall outcome, registered with US Clinical Trial registry, NCT02081131
